Revival
Roots in Sardinia
Pastor Siino Salvatore leaves Palermo for mission work and founds the first Christian community in Macomer (Nuoro). Signs, wonders, and miracles accompany the preaching. A second community is later founded in Sassari.
Evangelical Christian Church Association
The Association of the Evangelical Christian Church is formally established, consolidating the work that had grown in Sardinia over more than a decade of ministry.
Saron Center
The local health authority grants a three-hectare plot of land in Sardinia. The Saron Center is born: a facility for the reception and rehabilitation of drug addicts. More than six hundred young people from around the world are restored, some becoming preachers of the Gospel.
Eliseo Siino Takes the Lead
Pastor Eliseo Siino, son of Salvatore, takes over the leadership of the Church in Sassari and begins full-time ministry with his wife Lina. The anointing of God is to win the nations for Jesus.
Palermo — By Divine Command
A strong prompting of the Holy Spirit leads Eliseo and Lina Siino to move to Palermo to plant a new work. The first meetings are held in a disused warehouse near Via Oreto.
Brancaccio — The Church Grows
Rapid growth requires a new venue: around 200 seats in the Brancaccio neighborhood. Hundreds of people arrive each week to receive an answer from God. Even that space is not enough.
Via Guglielmo Peralta — 700 Seats
The church moves to its current location: a 700-seat auditorium. Hundreds of documented miracles in Palermo — cancer healings, lives restored, transformations science cannot explain. The church is still in strong growth.
The 7 Anointings
of Oil
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”
Oil is a holy element that God himself instituted as a means to free and bless his people. The anointing of oil, in particular, is a revelation given to our ministry according to the word written in the book of the prophet Isaiah.
As it is written, the anointing of oil breaks the yoke — any situation that blocks a person's life. The same concept is reaffirmed by the apostle James when he teaches that the sick should call the elders of the church and be anointed with oil (James 5:14).
It is for this reason that God has instructed us to impart the anointing of oil at the beginning of each year, directing the blessing into 7 different areas revealed to us year by year. Obedience to this revelation has opened the door to a great movement of the Holy Spirit, not only in our church but also in our city.
